My order has been delayed and I am worried that you have charged my card?
This is the most frequent query and concern that customers have and rightly so! Please be assured that we never ever charge your card until we are dispatching your order, and we have gone to some lengths to ensure that this is so.
All the prices on the website are in £ sterling. How can I work out the cost in my own currency?
There is an excellent website at www.xe.com/ucc/ which will give you a fairly accurate idea of the cost in your home currency, although we cannot in any way guarantee its accuracy as you are tied to the current rate of exchange of your credit card provider.
How quickly do you deliver?
Orders are usually dispatched within five days, often sooner. If there is likely to be a delay we will contact you and keep you informed. If your order is urgent, tell us! We are amazing at delivering to deadlines - but you may incur extra postage charges.
I've just received my order and I just don't like it as much as I though I would. What can I do?
Just return it! Our mail order guarantee is unconditional. Please return the item/s in perfect condition within 28 days and we will refund you with a smile. We cannot, however, refund your postage.
I have just received my order and it is damaged/broken. What should I do?
All items leave 'home' in perfect condition, although we are occasionally vulnerable to human error! Please return the item/s to us without delay - please make a note of the condition of the packaging on arrival if possible. We will either replace the item or give you a full refund, including your postage costs, depending on your choice.
I placed my order ten days ago and haven't received anything!
Contact us as soon as possible - parcels do occasionally get lost in the post and we need to know!
What do you charge for postage and packing?
In the UK, postage and packing is worked out by the weight of your order. However, our minimum charge for any order in the UK is £2.50, and the maximum in the UK is £8.00. This is automatically added at the checkout.
For orders to Europe, the USA, and anywhere else in the world, the cost is also worked out according to the weight of your order. This is automatically added at the checkout.
Is everything you sell available on the website?
No. All the products on the website are tried and tested customer favourites, but we have many other items in the retail shop. These are either too heavy or too fragile to send. We also stock many seasonal items which are always changing and available usually only in small quantities. We also stock numerous one-off items, so it's always worth paying us a visit when you are in the area.
What about books?
We stock hundreds of book titles about the Goddess, the Green Man, Wicca, Paganism and much more. We currently offer just a small selection of these on the website. Again, do visit us when you are in the area - you are most welcome to browse.
Do you have a paper catalogue?
We always mail out a paper catalogue at the end of October at Samhain. This tells our customers about calendars and diaries, best selling books of the year, and favourite products of the year. If you have placed an order through the website you will automatically receive this. Otherwise, please contact us by email or by phone with your name and address and we will add you to our mailing list.
Do you wholesale?
No. And we do not make lists of our suppliers available to other shops, so please don't ask. Our range is the result of 18 years work, research and relationship, and our sources are precious to us.
