Triple Moon Goddess Pennant String

Three gorgeous large Goddess pennants on a string, each 45 cms wide. The Maiden, Mother and Crone aspects of the Goddess are often associated with the moon phases. Childhood, maturity, and dying relate to the phases of the moon: the first crescent is the rebirth or replacement of the old. Also the colors of white, red and black are traditional for these Goddesses. Additional symbolism shown here is the ancient combination of the Tree of Life, the snake and the bird. These images evoke the journey of awakening kundalini as the energy of life (snake) climbing up the tree (spinal column) to the freedom of the upper divine realms (bird). Batik on rayon.
