Lammas Offerings

To celebrate Lammas, an exclusive and enchanting selection of offerings symbolising the energy of this First Harvest, The Grain Harvest.

The Lammas offerings are handcrafted air dried clay shapes encapsulating wild flower seeds.
Hang them in trees and on bushes or place the offerings at sacred sites, holy wells, stone circles, your garden, by streams and rivers, in woods, forests and wild places.

The elements will wear away at the clay enabling the wild flower seeds to germinate and return to their Mother Earth with your wishes and intentions.

9 Lammas offerings are supplied in a black silk effect box 130x90x40mm with a beautiful label.

1 x Sun, to honour the Great Celtic Sun King Lugh who resides over Lammas.
2 x Lammas Bread Twists.
2 x sheaves of wheat, symbols of the harvest.
1 x Cauldron, symbol of life, death and rebirth.
2 x small corn cobs, symbols of the energy of the season.
1 x Grain Mother with wheat.

The offerings are nestling in rose petals with a sprinkling of Marigold petals, also called 'little Suns', sacred to Lammas, which you can scatter to the four winds.

Instructions included with offering prayer and details of the wild flower seeds used.

Leaving an offering at your place of choice is a simple but effective way of connecting with Deity and the unseen spiritual realms which interpenetrate our own.

 The flower seeds within each offering are a mixture of Birdsfoot Trefoil, Black Knapweed, Common Sorrel, Cowslip, Field Scabious, Hoary Plantain, Lady’s Bedstraw, Selfheal, Yellow Rattle, Poppy, Ox Eye Daisy, Meadow Buttercup, Ribwort Plantain, Wild Carrot, Yarrow, Crested Dogstail, Common Bent and Smaller Cat’s Tail.
