Window Sticker - Moon
Text on back:
The mysterious Moon, visible mostly by night, is usually considered to be feminine because of her apparently unpredictable and changeable behaviour and her monthly cycle.
The Moon changes Her stellar position every month, and the dark period of disappearance for three days at the end of each cycle, followed by the waxing New Moon, may be thought to symbolize death, resurrection, immortality and the cycles of life.
For the ancients, the Moon Goddess was seen as the weaver of fate and controller of destinies, just as the Moon controls the tides, and influences rainfell, weather and the seasons. Traditionally the shadows on its surface were called 'The Man in the Moon'.
